Pedicure Night

Sandra was here from Texas to visit for a few weeks. We sisters were able to spend some fun time together. One night we had a girls night and did pedicures. The little foot in the picture is cousin Cody. He loves to join in on the pedicures everytime we do them. This time he got hot pink toes!!!!

LOOK AT THIS!!!!

Carissa cut off her long hair. It has taken her a while to grow it out and decided to cut it short. She wanted to make sure it was long enough to donate to Locks Of Love. It was so she donated it. She was excited about being able to donate her hair!!!

Where has the summer gone?

School starts August 25th. I am looking forward to the kids getting back to school and they are ready to get back to the structured environment. Carissa will be in the 5th grade this year and Jayden will be in 3rd grade. We are looking forward to another great year. It is about to get crazy around here with all three of us in school at the same time again. I can't believe I am more than half way closer to getting my degree. Tina and Suzanne will be graduating the end of this year and then it will be my turn. Just think in two years my parents will have all four daughters with degrees. CRAZY!!! It has been a long road.

Hospital Stay

Shortly after surgery to place pins in Jayden's arm he was trying to eat some dinner. Because of the anesthetics he kept falling asleep. It was a long two days in the hospital. Of course it did not stop him much. Two days after surgery he was up and running, jumping, and stressing his mom out!!! At the Doctor's appointment three days before having the pins removed Jayden was told he could not play baseball, and had to take a chill pill and stop stressing his mother out.(per the Doctor) The second surgery to remove the pins was May 22. Everything is healing just fine. He has to be very careful for about 4 more weeks. He is working on being able to extend his arm out fully again.

Carissa maintained a 4.0 grade point average this year at both semesters in Fourth grade. She was able to attend a Honor Society dinner and received her Honor Roll Certificate. GOOD JOB!!!!!!
